Dominic Deschatelets has always had a deeply rooted passion: helping people. Determined, cheerful, and naturally enthusiastic, he managed to combine his human qualities with a strong desire to build a sustainable, people-focused company that benefits the community.
In 2004, the Septique DD adventure began when Dominic started working in exterior maintenance, underground pipe repair, installation of pre-filters and access extensions for septic tanks, as well as his first septic system inspections. A curious and observant field worker, he gradually developed a unique, rigorous camera inspection protocol adapted to real-world conditions — a forward-thinking method for its time.
In 2010, the company reached a decisive milestone with the start of complete septic system installations. Eager to offer services that met the highest industry standards, Dominic invested time and energy in training. He became a certified installer for several recognized systems, including Écoflo and Bionest, providing personalized, durable, and environmentally friendly solutions. This increased expertise allowed Septique DD to establish itself as a trusted partner for homeowners, contractors, and municipalities, in compliance with environmental ministry standards.
Over the years, Septique DD has built a remarkable team of passionate employees dedicated to customer service. In 2012, Guillaume Rouleau joined the team as a repair technician. Through his professionalism, precision, and commitment, he quickly became a regional reference in septic system maintenance and repair.

In 2012, Dominic pushed his vision further and created a franchise model based on his specialized inspection protocol. In 2013, the first franchise was sold to Jonathan Lamarre Régnière, a structured and meticulous entrepreneur. For four years, Jonathan successfully developed the territory before passing the torch to a local engineering firm specializing in pre-purchase inspections.
In 2017, seeking new challenges and building on a solid partnership already established with Septique DD, Jonathan decided to join Dominic as a business partner. This complementary duo — Dominic, a passionate field professional, and Jonathan, an expert in administration and customer service — marked a strategic turning point in the company’s growth.
Since then, Septique DD has stood out for the quality of its services, its human approach, and its eco-responsible vision. Today, the company offers all services under one roof: camera inspection, installation, maintenance, repair, and more recently, septic pumping with state-of-the-art Juggler technology — combining performance with environmental respect.
With over 20 years of experience, a dedicated team, and a new 7,000-sq.-ft. head office in Val-des-Monts, Septique DD continues to grow while staying true to its mission: providing human, sustainable, and eco-friendly services for the health of your septic systems — and our planet.
